Road trip – Update

Earlier today we took a road trip to Danube Minnesota. Just under two hours of travel time. We stopped at few places on the way back.

The main reason is I have not visited my grandparents grave site since my grandma passed 17 years ago.

Monday June 1st marks 83 years of marriage! I miss both terribly. More importantly I wanted them to meet my guy. One of the last grandchildren to get married and I am not going to get my grandmother special cake. πŸ˜”

But I’m sure my grandparents will be there when we get married this fall. Because they are in my heart always.

One way back we stop in Olivia, Minnesota. Had to take few pictures. One was the corn capital picture with pink Magenta monkey and white ghost bear. We also got some more cool pictures from another town. (Pictures will be posted on Facebook since I have maxed out here. )

I love doing this travel with my guy. Thanks a bunch for hanging with me today on this emotional roller coaster ride. Love ya!!!!

Miles updates

On day 1 I walked 1.98. On day 2 I walked 1.85 miles. With Grand total of 3.83 miles. Day 3 I am at 1.33 miles so far. I have about 94.84 miles to walk.

Book update

The book I’m reading is Anne Frank Diary. I have about 70 pages left to read.

I’m loving it very much. Love the vivid description of what is going on during the war. How her and her family endured the secret annex.

Other note worthy stuff

Housing is very interesting and stressful on all front. We got couple leads and one grumpy father in law. But we are tackling it. Anxiety in all!

Tonight we turn back the clocks and I’m not sure if I like this year. Adds two extra hours to my main squeeze work schedule. Oh well, I should not complain. He’s working.

I have done 4 loads of laundry today. Yikes!!! That’s a lot!!!

Well Ross loves to volunteer with grill fest. He did that yesterday. And this is what he “scored”. I cannot wait to try one or two of them.
